Start A March...?
65 Answers
I went into the bank today to do a few transactions and was, yet again, met with blatant discrimination due to my disability - do I have a disability?...I'll have a look in the mirror...ah yes, seemingly I do - and was treated to what was called the "does he take sugar?" brigade. Well, after I had stolidly remarked "that I do not need an interpreter and I'm only blind in the eyes, not the brain", I said to my partner, who was the addressee of this offensive filth, that I might contact the Woke brigade and go on a march, after all, everyone's doing it (seemingly) and the person in the bank thought this very funny and in fact, hadn't stopped finding things funny even when insulting me. So there you go folks, another day in the nice bright and breezy world of let's go and offend someone, eh! Ta Muchly and apologies for the rant. Keep Well and Safely Sane, for those of you who care!

"I'm only blind I'm not insane, behind my eyes I've got a brain, I'm not contagious or a disease, all I'm asking for is understanding, please!" copyright T Hopwood-Jackson, from my poem/rap 'Blindrap' - and spicerack, anyone with a squint or wears glasses is classed as visually-handicapped, but I notice the rnib (really not into blindness) does not have a reference to total blindness. Good one there Mamya. and I really do apologise for how this thread has taken its toll on some people, but what are these 'anser removed' surely I/we have the right to know, human right - or is that another argument/discussion for another day!
