Nationwide And Verifying Yourself

I'm trying to order something on-line and it keeps asking me to variety myself. It's not letting me change my phone/email address to get the one off code. Any ideas?

I can be of no help but I did recieve an email from Nationwide telling me that I would have to do things to verify that it was me using my card to buy on line...but I didn't understand a word of it....I would hope you got one too and that you can understand it...

Can you log into Nationwide and change your contact details in your account profile? Do you need to receive a code via SMS to complete the order? Have you tried to contact the company you are ordering from and, if you trust them ask them to take your card details over the phone?

We don't actually do on line banking.

There's nothing to stop you registering for online banking (which will then enable you to change your account details). You don't actually have to use it. Otherwise you'll need to wait until tomorrow to phone Nationwide: 03457 30 20 11 (0800-1800, calls are charged at the same rate as you pay to 01 or 02 numbers).

You will need to contact the bank to update you contact details. We had an email a while ago about it, and when I checked, the phone number they had for me was a very old work number. Once they have your current mobile number you can verify smoothly with a code sent as a text message.

I'll phone them tomorrow. It's a pain in the bottom. Even trying to do it on the website is a nightmare.

I haven't got a paypal account. It's not important. I just forgot somethings on the shopping list....he's fallen asleep now so it doesn't matter :-)
