Morning Emmie. Shocking weather up here still, and I have to go out. Things to sort out before a long busy day tomorrow. On duty at a polling station for what is a very long day, then helping with the count on Sunday. That itself is unusual as the count usually gets done immediately after the polls close. i.e Overnight. Better get myself some provisions in.
It was earlier Emmie. About 8.30AM. Snow flurries that turned to sleet and then a hail storm that left us white over. Got me thinking that today there is a meeting at Chester Racecourse as there is every year in the first week of May. I have attended the first Wednesday in May opening of the course in shirt sleeves in the past. If I did that today I would need an ambulance and a big roll of baco foil.
