Brother Been Discharged From Hospital.

He has so many assessments to enable him to come home. We were told he will have transport home, food for the night, carers there in the evening.
He had his transport home, just turfed out at the door. No carers. no food, after being in for nearly three weeks his cupboards are bare. Given a bag of pills with no instructions as to what to do with them or when.
He can't walk, very unsteady. In lots of pain due to gout in his knee.
Daughter and I are so worried we will do the 5 hour round trip tomorrow to check on him and take him shopping if we can get a wheelchair at asda.

My daughter has been on the phone countless times to hospital, they are not replying. We are so worried.

Mamya hospital will not allow it. He needs treatment locally. Can not transfer that to gloucester.

It really is a problem. His bedroom and bathroom are upstairs. He has not been assessed for stairs.

You can get an assessment of his needs done by community support, but that will take time.

It seems health workers all give different instructions on situations and have no set rules. Well done, he will appreciate the help you can give him. If he needs any home help you may need to chase this up.
