To be humane and have respect
12:34 Tue 04th May 2021
What nature clearly dictates. To evolve, by breeding and adaptation to our environment. From a spiritual perspective, to transcend our earthly human forms, eventually into beings of pure spirit.
To humanely reduce the human population to a level where it can live sustainably in balance with nature and all other creatures.
// we must expunge the evil of religion from the world, only then can we have a chance to be truly mature. //

For once, I agree with him 100%, or 110% in sports terms.

tobe kind to each other, and care for those who can't care for themselves.
The greatest happiness for the greatest number.
'to expunge the evil of religion'. Good luck with that. To look for meaning is in our DNA. Every society since the dawn of man has had religion in some respect.
Pixie @ 02:09 and 0301 :-
Meaning - It is how we are made. We have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, to explore the universe and everything in it.
Each of us carries a spark of the divine, that drives us towards ends that satisfy our souls.
Many find meaning in relationships, family, love, work, ambition and more, and those whose lives have no meaning are pitiful animals indeed.
Theland //Meaning - It is how we are made. We have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, to explore the universe and everything in it//

Yes, but religion opposes that, as it means people think they have found the answer. In reality, there is no reason there "is" actually a meaning, just that we naturally want one.
If you can't find one, religion will do.
Not at all.
To me God is the ultimate meaning in life.
He is not a substitute for anything else.
In fact, how many rich people suffer depression, sometimes suicide because having sampled everything, they have found nothing.
At the Beach End at Pittodrie Park?
Theland, money isn't "meaning". And I'm sure many religious people have suffered depression too, so I don't think that's relevant.
//To me God is the ultimate meaning in life.//

Above or below your family?
Agreed, money is not everything.
Neither is any hedonistic pastime.
Religious people do suffer depression, I have done / do myself.
Never as depressed as i have been at the Beach End at Pittodrie Park sometimes.
@14:25 :- Above my family. Putting God first, and everything else will be added to me, including family.
Added to what, theland? Do you really put God first? I thought you had a gay son, but he came above your religion?
