Clio Radio code

I have recently replaced my car battery which has led to my radio demanding a code to work - I have a code in my service book but nothing happens when I enter it - I am not sure of the correct procedure of entering thecode as I don't have the user manual for the car. Can anyone help? or do I have to visit the dealer :(

it could be that you have to press the appropriate buttons the number of times to tie in with the code for example if the code is 1234, first button once 2nd button twice etc, and then the 5th button to register the code ? apologies if youve already tried this.

Sounds right, but I think you press the scan up button to enter. { it was a few years ago when I last did this!}
