Daft Pet Hates!

It’s silly I know, but my pet hate is when I’m in a supermarket with a basket with 5 or 6 items in,and I joint the queue with just one person in front of me and they have a trolley with at least 2 weeks worth of shopping in! And they turn round and look at me, then instead of saying oh you go ahead, you’ve only got a couple of things, they then turn back and carry on unloading their 200 plus items!! Grrrrrr......

we have always had them, i don't remember a time when we didn't get them down for a wash to refresh them. i have mine as i say because of unwanted spying eyes, and they look nice.

a public building directly opposite. the guy i saw with the Binoculars was on the roof, their building almost matches ours for height. so the windows more or less match up. we are separated by a small road.

we have a sister block which is the other side of the building, directly opposite as well, from my balcony, but we do have a large garden in front of both blocks.

I live in a terrace street. Neither myself or the ones opposite have nets. I can't see into their house unless they have the curtains open with the lights on in the evenings.

And no, I don't make a point of looking :-)

the guy on the roof threw me i must say, i can see into the offices opposite, its just that i don't do it. They have bare windows, its an office with lots of people.

I live in a flat in a group of 3 in a U shape. So in my lounge I have both curtains and net/sheer type curtains...which I don't care for but as the building opposite is level, I see them as necessary. None for the 2 bedrooms on that side as the windows are small.
None in my bedroom though as the houses opposite are on a lower lever, so unless I stand right in the window, they're not going to see much.
I'd rather not have curtains, but I hate vertical blinds, but I do like wooden ones.
Another pet hate...people who take up a full shopping aisle or path. They seem oblivious to anyone else behind tgem.

I'm having nets and curtains put up. Previous owner had blinds but I don't like them.

I must admit I don't like them, and I have no need for them, but to accuse people of poor taste is very rude and shows a lack of breeding.
