Print Job Won’t Clear
11 Answers
I’ve introduced my new laptop to my photosmart printer and all is well until the print job finishes. It won’t clear and blocks the next print job and the only solution is to turn the printer off and on again. It means I can’t print more than one item without a proper game.

In the Properties window click the 'Print Test Page' button. The 'Driver version' is shown on the resulting print and can be compared with the drivers available here:

I have done that but the Tool can see the printer but isnt abnle to connect with it. I've run a wireless check and all is fine there, besides I can print so the laptop can connect, it just wont clear the queue.
However I have found that if I run the Windows printer troubleshooter, the spool clears and that's a wee bit better than having to reboot between each print job!
