Post Code lottery?
In or out?
Could be you send them your bank details and then they send you 20,000,000 Nigerian dollars.Minted.
If it's a payment in Caran , I also think it may be a small lottery or draw prize.

Not postcode lottery, I usually get an email when I win on that.
It was £5 going in to my account.
Check your email spam folder. I suspect that you'll find the missing prize notification hiding in there.

Chris, i check spam folder every day, nothing in there.
Weird! The National Lottery was paying out a fiver (as well as a Lucky Dip) to people who matched two numbers yesterday but a payment from them would seem to be unlikely as
(a) I wouldn't expect it to reach your bank account until tomorrow ; and
(b) their reference is usually just 'Prize payment 3'.

Even without the email, if you do the Postcode Lottery, try logging into your account and looking for your actual account number. If it turns out to be P000013617733, you'll have solved the mystery.
sounds like you have won on a casino, easiest thing is to ask the bank
Any money i win on the Lottery - won £60 last night for 3 numbers - goes into my Lottery account and i have to manually transfer it to my bank account.
I suspect the payment is pending, Caran, and may well be some sort of scam. Be very careful.
Chris might be on to something Caran by suggesting the National Lottery ? The draw on Sat 24th April (which was a must win draw) would've won you a fiver if you had two numbers from

16, 24, 29, 30, 32, 38
Caran, i've just entered the ref number details into Google and there are a few 'entries'. If you pay for your lottery tickets by DD, winnings are automatically paid to your bank. I pay as i play.
Just be careful with this. Someone I know had a payment made into their bank account and they were then contacted, told it was a mistake and asked for their card details to repay it.

As it happens, they told them to sling their hook on the basis no one was going to sue for such a small amount of £.
Caran omits to tell us the date of the payment, which may help to shed further light on the matter. It can't have been today or yesterday.

Can't get back onto bank statement. I don't do national lottery. I do health, postcode, and a forest one.
Caran, any bonds you've got that have won, so are paying you?
