How Much Are Cigarettes?

Was watching a programme about Gibraltar and people smuggling cigarettes out of there as they are cheap to buy and it got me wondering how much do cigarettes cost to buy here in a shop?

I must admit that it was mostly down to cost that we stopped smoking. Cigarettes may have been pennies in the old days but in real terms they were so expensive you could buy them in packs of 5.
When I was a kid some shops sold them in singles, with a match. Very popular with schoolkids
