Have you tried looking for him on FaceBook? The chances of him being a member of AB is slim and it is such a common name lots of people will know a Steve Evans.

Good advice from Mozz, there is a Steve Evans about that time on IMDb, as a cast member of Paper Lads.

The only other suggestion I can add is maybe a letter to The Stage .

Equity (the actors Trade Union) might be another possibility but GDPR will probably inhibit such a course.
