1. I'm feeling much better than I was a fortnight ago and I am not needing to take pain relief during the day now.
2. Apart from a short, sharp hailstorm earlier, it's been mostly sunny today.
3. I'm going to lie in a hot bath shortly and relax and pamper.
4. Despite some tough challenges over the last year, both personally and professionally, I still have my sanity.
5. I've lost 12lbs in weight since I came out of hospital without even trying.

I really enjoyed the first semi-final last night and I'm looking forward very much to the second one tomorrow. Then it's the big final on Saturday evening! Yay!
Yes, I know I'm sad - but at least I'm cheerful at the same time ;-)

Apart from a bit of rain on Monday itself, Zylaphone, the forecast for Teignmouth is looking really quite good for next week, with plenty of sunshine, reasonably warm temperatures and just a light southerly breeze:

Had good news from opthalmic surgeon today. a) Recent cataract op. has been very successful and b) the glaucoma pressures have gone way down as a result.
He's a very happy chappie (I'm also very, very happy) and wants to do the other eye (cataracts, but worse) a.s.a.p.. Reckons that this could completely sort out the glaucoma. This is a very, very good reason to be happy. :)
