Could anybody verify the returns on a £1 trixie bet of 2/1 winner a non runner and a loser I got £3 return.

that's correct. you have £1 at 2/1 so that's 2 + stake = 3, 3 on a non runner is a refund still 3, on to a loser is 0. only 1 of the doubles comes in and that's the one with the win and the non runner = £3
