For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I wouldn't have one for love of money - expensive, not enough range or charging points, those taking too long - and most of all, not environmentally friendly. 65% of the UK's tricity is generated from oil and gas, so one has the efficiency of that to consider, never mind transmission losses down the power-lines - and the damage done to CO2 and Nox and the rest by making and, eventually, disposing of them.
White paint comes as standard. Black, silver or blue paint costs £1450 extra. Red paint costs £2500 extra. I think that might explain why you see so many white models ;-)
