Pushchairs on aeroplanes

Well ive asked 2 or 3 questions over last couple of weeks re taking my toddler grandson to majorca and now the time is nearly here (we are going on saturday) i have a final question please.......what happens to pushchair if we keep it til we get to plane? he could possibly walk (as we have a late evening flight he may be tired tho) and im wondering if it would be easier for me to send it with suitcase or keep it??

You don't have a choice I'm afraid, it goes in the hold with your suitcases. Have a good trip.
You check the wheelchair in at the desk and they give you a baggage tag the same as goes on your suitcase. You then keep the wheelchair until you are getting on the plane and hand it to the baggage handler at the bottom of the stairs. Enjoy your trip.
In my experience, people with babes in arms are boarded first anyway, and the pushchair goes in the hold.
when I've flown to Spain with children, I have taken the buggy up to the plane door then the stewards take it off you then I've collected it when we have got off...again at the plain door. Plus try to check in quicker by notifying checkin that young children are present!
