My In Laws.
23 Answers
I was talking to mr smow about them yesterday, and I said how incredibly incredibly lucky I was. They literally treat me as their daughter, and in fact they call me their daughter. I honestly couldn’t wish for better in laws if I tried. They are the kindest, funniest, most loving people you could meet and despite only being 68/70 I truly don’t know what I would do without them. Anyone else been so lucky? Or been unlucky??

She was very supportive of me and my (then) two children when my OH (her son) died, and years later even welcomed my new husband into the family when we visited.
My husbands whole family were, and still are, Toxic. When we married his father wrote my OH out of his Will for marrying 'a foreign gold-digger with brats' . Even after I bought a farm with MY money he still would have nothing to do with me, and my MIL just did what she was told. Although they are now both long gone OH's family rarely speak to him, and he's never invited to family events.
