What have you been up to in this fabulous weather?
I’ve hardly been in and when I have it’s been to sit out on our decking, tan building very nicely in preparation for our holiday hopefully

Had 2 ( just... sob!!) days with daughter and her partner. Was supposed to be 3, but their car got cancelled and they had to schlep down by bus. An agonising, hot journey... they arrived Saturday at 4...back on bus Monday at 3:45. We spent the time eating...a lot, and drinking...a lot. Chatting when our mouths weren't full. Can hardly wait until next...

we could meet out of town if you can get out with reasonable ease - the Tinners for example, or there's the Victoria at Perranuthnoe (between Marazion and 'Elston)- or places nearer to here like the Royal Oak at Perranworthal (Mikey went there with me and thoroughly enjoyed this bastion of Conservatism) or the Old Quay at Devoran.... Had some lovely walks, out to the sea, in the local countryside and up some mild inclines! Enjoyed a couple of excellent barbeques, drunk a lot of alcohol-free martini (highly recommended- but not many places have it- have to use Amazon at the moment)- and given the garden a bit of a makeover. Also had some moments of serenity sitting under a tree in the local park and reading an actual book rather than staring at my screen as per usual.
