online courses
5 Answers
Hi, I work freelance so sometimes have a few weeks with no work. To keep busy, I would like so enrol on some online courses, free if possible but I could pay for the right course. Does anyone know any good ones or good sites to check out? Can be any level, amateur or serious.
Subjects would preferably be creative writing and proofreading, but also computer maintenance, journalism, psychology, philosophy, sociology.
Thanks in advance

The full professional training course is 495 but they do a freelance course at 150. It's worth remembering, of course, that you don't need any qualifications for journalism; if your writing is good enough it will sell anyway. (I started freelance writing when I was 14 but it was another 30 years before I decided to go on a course. That was before the days of online courses so it meant a 150 mile round trip to evening classes every week!).
