Has anyone here got any positive experiences? Please don't tell me of God awful experiences of people who have died etc as I don't need to hear that at the moment. Have you had melanomas removed, been OK etc

Had it removed, it came back as grade one melanoma but Dr said they had taken it all. However, he did say for peace of mind neice could have more skin taken from around the site, which she did. That came back as clear. Now healed quite nicely though there will be a scar. Dr told her she should have no further problems though to keep an eye on other moles.
I have lots of skin lesions (moles) which the docs say are benign and cannot be removed under the NHS as treatment would be purely cosmetic.
I have also had several BCCs (basal cell carcinomas) removed which are considered to be non-malignant but will spread locally if untreated.
I had Mohs surgery on my ear which resulted in a large portion of my ear being removed. A surgeon attempted a reconstruction but made such a hash of it that I ended up having the ear removed & replaced by a prosthesis. I should have gone private (£10k).
