at my sister in laws, She'd done a gammon joint in her slow cooker with Diet coke for the liquid, the taste was absolutely divine, I have often done diet coke with chicken but never with ham, it was so tender it melted in the mouth

i had my builders put in a butler sink and when it was all done it looked great. and still does, i am of average height and it sets in the worktops not on top like some are.

Yes, bednobs, I can see that underfloor heating could also cause a lot of problems although I have lived in my house for over 30 years and never had a problem with the central heating.
Of course you could have electric underfloor heating if your pockets are deep enough to switch it on but that could go wrong, too
