i haven't heard from him in ages, he used to post most days, i know that she had an op on her foot, and caught covid whilst in hospital.

Morning birdies , it’s a big overcast just now but we don’t have the humidity ,in fact there’s a nice gentle breeze wafting through the open windows, off out to meet my friend this morning for coffee and shopping

its still hot and clammy, i don't know what its like outside as yet, i won't go out till later on so it could be a change, and the sun comes out hopefully.

i do my shopping on line now, i don't think i could bear to traipse around the shops - i just bought a nice pair of trainers, light berry which is a lovely colour for this time of the year. i have some other things that will match up hopefully. I can't get into the room with my clothes and shoes in it, i honestly have to stop buying stuff. I give away a lot that doesn't fit and then buy a few things that do...

Ah this is more browsing shopping Emmie, my friend needs to call to Boots opticians and the Sky shop, I need some very light grey cushion covers to go with my silver and white voils

that sounds a nice colour scheme, my brother went for light grey in his living room with pictures to match, its very effective.

though i prefer out and out colour, so my room is quite dark in some ways, i did change it a while back but have no intention of doing any more diy.

I normally put voils up in the Summer months, my suite is grey but in the Winter I offset it with dark red soft furnishings, plain curtains and red check cushion covers and a dark red rug which I take up in the Summer

i keep my colour scheme all year round. Dusky pink carpet and floor to ceiling dusky pink curtains. it works well for me, i have had compliments about it from any number of people.

with endless photo's of family and my lovely Jack Vettriano paintings on the walls it works.

it is, my chesterfield aubergine coloured sofa and chair do match.
