Why the blanket effusive coverage of the Euros from the pro-Brexit British media?

Come to that, why are Brexit Britain even in it - we left EU didn't we ?

The ref responded well also. Then went back out, with his assistants, and restarted the game at the behest of the players. He was not compelled to, but made a pragmatic decision that was probably the best one.
You're right Togo, the ref does deserve a lot of credit. It's fortunate that he was close enough to Eriksen to have seen what was happening, but he was waving the doctors on before he'd finished blowing his whistle.
Just a shame the cameras stayed focussed on that corner of the pitch far longer than they ought to have :-(
Sorry Canary, wet blanket comes to mind. And Europe is a large geographical area and not just the EU.
