Sick Of All These Selfish People

wanting restrictions to be lifted just so they can get married or go to a nightclub. How would they feel if all their guests got Covid and then spread it? Are weddings really that important? Is a night out in a crowd of sweaty drunks so crucial?

Worst side effects I have heard of are feeling a bit crap for a day or two. Go for it- you wouldnt need to go around feeling frightened and selfish any more. Job done.
I've had Covid and have since received both my vaccines. I recently had community acquired pneumonia and was pumped full of antibiotics. Today I phoned my GP because my son has given me yet another cough / cold and she's put me on Doxycycline.
I am enormously grateful that I have access to medicines and vaccines when I need them There are people alive in this world who would give their right arm to have access to what we have and all too often take for granted. If a new Covid vaccine is launched in winter I will grab it with both hands....to protect myself and my loved ones.
In my local area there are hardly any cases - and I'm sure it's no coincidence that there's extremely high uptake of the vaccine round here.

//New Judge, I can only think of three reasons to not get a vaccination: fear, ignorance and selfishness.//
There are medical reasons, for example those suffering from severe anaphylaxis. Then of course there is the simple reason that they may just not fancy it (which should be equally respected). Compulsory medical treatment (which includes, as the statute specifically mentions, vaccination) is illegal in the UK. Parliament believed there was good reason for that. Castigating people for not agreeing to medical treatment largely goes against Parliament’s reasoning. Personally I believe anybody not having the vaccine is very foolish. But I respect their decision because that’s what it is – their decision. We’re not all the same.

In your case that usually means not everybody taking part agrees with you, anne.
