Upon completing 'winters end' by john rickards, which was great untill the conclusion which then ruined everything, I started reading the historian. Im only about 20 pages in and so far so good. Does it have a good middle and a good end?

i enjoyed it but it was hard work in places, worth sticking with

I really enjoyed it, and have passed it around at work to freinds, who have also enjoyed it. A bit of a page turner in parts, very good.
