Swept off your feet? Good or Bad?
16 Answers
Hi All,
Has anyone ever been swept off their feet by someone (past or present)?
What did that entail?
How did you feel?
Was it worth it?
Do you actually know what it would take to sweep you off your feet?
Why would anyone want to let have one person have that much control over them?
Please help, drunken arguments need to be settled here!
Cheers

Totally stunned, caught out like a stunned wee rabbit in headlights - saw his gorgeous eyes and wham, bam, thank you ma'am.....the whole kit n kaboodle, tractor beam - woosh ! I was hooked, still am, in wondrous ore are his soulfull eyes and beautiful long, long eyelashes, wonderful smile, and glasses..........sexy, sexy, sexy..........then i woke up.
Absolutely!
I saw him in a pub one night and just thought he was the most beautiful guy ever, I made a similar impression and a friend arranged for us to meet up.
We got together the first night we met and moved in together two weeks later.
He didn't control me at all, it was very mutual. he made me feel so at ease with myself, like I was beautiful to him however I looked :) I used to watch him sleep sometimes and when we first got together he'd leave first and leave me in bed. He'd always make me a cup of tea and leave it by the bed with a little note and kiss me good bye, i used to pretend to be asleep sometimes it was so lovely and i used to keep the notes and all his love texts.
It was like we'd both found something amazing and couldn't quite believe it, yes there were issues, aren't there always, but I have enduring memories of little things like feeding him chips from McDonalds which he was driving and how I always used to have my hand on his leg to keep that contact and the way we'd just "look" at each other. Little things but sooooo special.
I've never loved anyone like I loved him and even though we split after a very intense year (something really bad happened we both found it very difficult to deal with together) I've never met anyone since who made me feel like he did. 6 years on and i've not had a serious relationship since.
I am dating though and met a lovely lovely guy Friday night (first date with him through a dating site), just waiting and hoping he'l txt me back and want to see me again - keep you finger crossed for me :) xxx
