The house i am in once belonged to a landlord who i did a lot of decorating for. When i was working on this house, i asked him if he had anyone earmarked for it and he said not. So i moved in. The house has been sold on twice since at auction - i've never even met my current landlord - yet the rent has remained at £75 pw. It is probably worth noting that, in general, house prices here in Burnley are quite low and the monthly rental charges reflects that.
