I have just received a parcel containing some books sent by a dear friend. Three of the books have been written by Celia Imrie.

Have any of you read any of her books and what did you think of them? I have to admit I didn't know she had written any.

I've read a few of her books. They are easy to read and slightly humourous. The ones I read were about a group of older people living in the south of France. They were ok, you won't learn anything but you won't have nightmares!

Thanks for letting me know. My friend does say she thinks they are very lightweight and the books we usually exchange are usually more intense but as my friend can no longer see to read she didn't give me an appraisal of them.
I am currently reading 'The Mirror and The Light' but now, unfortunately, will not be able to pass it on.
