Living In A Camper Van
25 Answers
Ive always been a minimally materialistic person. Husband is the opposite. Ive always (since about age 8!) dreamt of living in a camper van on of some sort (husb hasn't).
I have no regrets marrying my man (26 years together) but sometimes I wish he'd be willing to TRY understand this dream and consider it even for a temporary period. He just won't budge and my dream is unimportant to him.
I think as we are both getting older (not old yet but hey its approaching) now is the time to try this. Even if for only 6 months or so. He is 56, I am 47. but I cannot convince him :(
Maybe I'm overly simplistic whilst he is very cautious but I wish he'd try dream my dream

If not then it is unfair to to pressure him now, buy a van, have lots of lovely weekends away, and mayb e find a way of paring back in your current setting so it is closer to the lifestyle you wanted. Have to say I found one week in a luxury static caravan was too primitive for me, but each to their own
