Serving someone with bankrupcy
5 Answers
A small company owes my (very small) company money and has not paid. A warrant of Execution was issued against them and the court balliffs cannot get contact with the director. I'm sick of them messing me around as I'm only a small business. I'd like to make them bankrupt or something severe so they see that they cannot get away with this behaviour. The law seems to be failing me at the moment. What can I do?

If the company is a limited company in England and Wales you can find out all kinds of information at Companies House...http://www.companieshouse.gov.uk/WebCHeck/fastrack/.
May be worth checking in case they are bad debtors in general and the company is in trouble, if so further advice can be found at www.insolvency.gov.uk.
