Can anyone help with what is the correct, legal wording for a will when someone knows who they want to leave all their possessions to.

I've just been into my 'Documents folder', looking for a copy of my own will in order that I could modify it in response to your question. To my amazement (because I'd completely forgotten that I'd created it), I found a file there, dated 18 January this year, called 'DraftWillForCaran.doc'. So it seems that I must have answered this question before!
Go here, and click the 'Download' button, to access the file and then open it in Word (or whichever other word processing software you use):

[Note to others: There's nothing at all confidential about that file; it's simply a generic draft document. If you'd like to take a look at it as well, please feel free to download it].

I have taken the opportunity to download for my frenz use
( I er of course have a will already - - but the increds wise Barmaid says to review it at yearly intervals )
My experience of intestate dead people is that they actually have made a conscious decision not to write a will ( and the " dont need to, cant write, wont take bus into town to see a lawyer, too busy, no money, a what did you say? " is just random window dressing )
