I know nothing about football - but my flagpole in front of my house is suitably adorned with the Cross of St George.

I can’t see any debate between flag flyers and non flag flyers ending in a laugh and a handshake :-)

If I was you NJ I’d stick to a Saturday booking and if the worst comes to the worst lock yourself in the cellar on Sunday :-)
Yep, just hoisted it up :0)
Off to the pub later this afternoon with my mates although we’ll leave before the match starts for no other reason than we will have been out since 3 pm putting the world to rights
Very much like someone with a touch of sarcasm.
I don't fly flags but having lived with 5 men (related to me, not random men) I kinda have no choice but to watch football.

I was watching the England game wearing an Ireland top. I will always support England unless they are playing Ireland, I stay neutral then.

Teacake has a valid point just badly made. It always kicks off when England plays. I got locked into a pub once because they were loads scrapping outside.

I can think of worse places to be locked in.
It wasn't fun. They stopped serving until the police arrived
