Entry Into Menorca

I am seeing differing travel advice about entry to Spain and its islands this weekend. Can any one confirm that we need EITHER a double-vaccination certificate OR a negative test certificate? Or is it both documents? There seems to be a lot of outdated information mixed in with new details. Grateful if anyone can clarify the situation or point us to a clear link. Thanks in advance.

I am in Menorca now. I can only confirm what we had to as both double vaccinated. We had to get our vaccine record validated by the NHS app and upload that as a pdf to our airline (BA). You also have to complete the Spanish locator form before we travelled, no earlier than 48 hours before flying out and also upload that to the airline. We have had to book a lateral flow test to be done no earlier than 3 days before we fly home. This has to done via a Spanish website, you cannot bring free NHS ones with you and costs 30 euros each. Then you have to do a PCR test on day 2 of arrival back in UK which we arranged via Boots at £99 each through the post.

Thank you both. Prudie we have done exactly what you describe for entry to Menorca, so our minds are now at rest! (Our return is not a problem as we are merely transitting the UK). Again many thanks!
