Sunk, nothing to do with Brexit then, even though France and Germany attempted to get us banned from entering saying "out is out".
Brexit/EU is nothing to do with the Euros. Russia, Switzerland, Macedonia, Turkey - I think that little petition was just someone having a laugh.

Archibaldy, //Brexit has nothing to do with the Euros//
I know that but somebody should tell Merkel & Macron.

It wasn't Markel/Macron though, it was Jurgen Loos, the former German central midfielder, and according to your link the petition "never saw the light of day". As I said - someone having a laugh.
“ Yuro Baloni, spokesman at UEFA headquarters”

Has the Daily Express nothing better to do?
There must be another Princess Di or Madeleine McCann angle surely to keep them busy …
Did they really fall for this April Fool or are they trying (with obvious success) to fool their readers?
From the link; "A spokesman added, "Anyone who thinks EUFA referees will treat any of the home nations kindly after a vote to 'leave' on June 23 is deluding themselves."
Haven't done too badly so far, have they? Just a handful of bookings, very few contentious decisions against and a soft penalty for:-)
It was mentioned in another thread that the referee missed the blatant cheating by the Danish 3 man wall as they took their free kick.

UEFA has nothing to do with the EU.
55 national teams entered the competition (there are only 26 EU nations). France and Germany could not have had us banned. That was nonsense.
It was an April fool from several years ago.

Quite a successful one it works seem.

“Jurgen Loos” ??
“Yuro Baloni” ??

Sour grapes, Yes. But he does have a point about the venues, the EUFA president has said next time it will go back to the more fairer venues all in one country.

I am fully aware of that as posted earlier.Don't you bother to read previous posts?
@8.03. He is like one of those phones that only does outgoing calls.
“ the EUFA president has said next time it will go back to the more fairer venues all in one country”

I don’t think it’s unfair this time to be honest. I suppose it seems so because England was never officially made the host nation. But actually if England WAS the host no one would be complaining :-)
And ALL their games would be at home
It seems underhand but I don’t think it is.
It would be great if the World Cup made a long overdue return to these islands.
Ha ha I didn’t even see that the “petition” link was an April fools. Good one.
