Bbq Alternative

I don’t get along with a bbq..gas or solid fuel, etc..so a number of years ago I bought a small electric hot plate.
Today for lunch we’ve had what I call a ‘Bowl salad’ consisting of
Pea shoots, rocket, cherry tomatoes halved, cucumber, red grapes halved, pomegranate seeds, red pepper, avocado slices. Then dumped on top was a mixture of chicken and lardons fried up outside on said hot plate, with croutons on top, and shaved Parmesan. Dressing of choice if wanted/needed.
By heck, it was very, very tasty, and very, very easy and made us feel as if we’re on holiday (which we kind of are).
Two bottles of fizz helped it all down ;o)
