In Northants. Haven't seen any lightening yet. The rain is stopping and starting, much needed. Still very warm though.

Horribly hot and humid in Manchester, it was 35 degrees in bedroom when I went up for a shower not long ago. Am sat in front of a fan downstairs but it's just so muggy. No rain due until Saturday :(

Not a cloud in the sky all day in N Devon. Was out on the sea today and I`ve never seen the Atlantic look so beautiful. Not a ripple on the water - it could have been the Indian Ocean. Stunning sunset tonight in Woolacombe. I heard there has been thunder in the south east.
