This doesn't surprise me. When I visited the city about 4 years ago, there was already a hideous excrescence next to the Three Graces.

Now the regenerated waterfront (which was very worthy of its status IMHO) is being raped by inappropriate developments (all in the name of Greed of course).

Only the third site worldwide to suffer such an indignity (the other two being Oman's Arabian Oryx Sanctuary in 2007 and the Dresden Elbe Valley in Germany in 2009)

I cannot see Liverpool letting itself become so bad. The city should ignore Unesco and carry on developing the city for Liverpool residents.
