The trouble is when anyone in any government comes up with such an idea (which I personally applaud), all the do-gooding minority groups come crawling out of the woodwork (again) saying it is an infringement of their human rights etc etc etc and as usual, these groups win and we never hear of such a plan ever again. So, no I doubt very much this will happen, sadly....

i find it odd that some would complain, do they like unfettered crime
being nice does not seem to work, hug a hoodie etc, pain humiliation and fear seems the order of the day, we have whole generations
who think thye can do what they like, with no recourse to the law or society, i wonder how it's done in russia and there reoffending rates.
