I keep getting a message on my Samsung tablet saying "Samsung internet has stopped ". I have cleared the cache but still the message keeps coming. Any ideas please ?
I doubt if the problem is with your browser. Try shutting down and restarting the tablet. Press and hold the power button until the power menu is displayed. Tap shutdown, tap to confirm. after it's shut down, press and hold the power button to restart it.
That message usually means the app has crashed and so the Android system has shut it down. It may be fixed in a future update. Try using a different browser. Firefox and Chrome are both free.
i have tried both methods but still no good. In the first one I kept my finger on the power button but nothing else appeared.
in the second one I went to Settings and in the Apps I had a look at Samsung Internet and saw that the browser was Chrome. The alternative was Samsung Internet but even after swapping them I am still getting the message
