This is because a baby pigeon at 4 weeks old looks identical to it's parent. Whilst growing up to this stage, they stay in their nest and only leave when fully feathered. They start off covered in yellow down and their feathers start to show after 2 weeks in the nest. And many a pigeon lover would tell you they have seen loads!!!
P.S. Someone once paid 110,000 for a pigeon!!! Nout as queer as folk!
this question got me for a while- then we had the luck of having a pigeon nest on our windowsill (3 floors up). The baby pigeon stayed there for a few weeks then flew off. I now know that baby pigeons do exist (and pigeons therefore don't clone themselves) but why we don't see more of them,I havn't a scooby.
