As some of you might know I’ve been looking for a flat to let near my daughter in, Hampshire.

On three occasions we have followed up on an advert for what would have been an ideal property for me. Each time we have been told that the landlord has decided to move a family member into the property.

The last time was today when we saw a property just listed yesterday afternoon and my daughter rang at 9.00am and expressed a very strong interest. The agent said he would get back to us but didn’t. When we rang them at 15.30 we were told he was going to let his nephew have the flat.

Why not ask your whole family, “does anyone want a flat” before putting it on the market and disappointing potential lessees. It’s so sad and infuriating.
