Hi - I'm trying to back up files onto a CD on Windows 2000 using the back up wizard.
Every time I get to the end of the process I get a message saying:
The back up file name could not be used'
(E:\September.bkf)
Please ensure it is a valid path and that you have sufficient access.
I am the administrator so must have access! Does anybody have any ideas what I can do or would I be quicker just copying all the files onto the CD.
Thanks for your answer - tried it but it didn't work.
Apparently you cannot back up on to a CD from Windows Office 2000. You have to do it on to floppy disks - well after getting through 3 of them I think it's probably quicker just to re-write the files to a CD - and faster!
It seems strange that there is not the facility to back up onto a CD, I got the advice from Windows support and help so it must be true but I am amazed.
