Did anyone watch The Great ?
I recorded it and have just started watching but I can,t understand why Peter keeps saying his Father was Peter the Great, he was his Grandfather

it seems a bit daft to combine 2 Peters into one person,if I am watching historical dramas I do like most of the facts to be correct

As shelle said...its not factual. You need to completely suspend belief as you watch it and forget history. It's pure entertainment, that's all.

I watched the first 4 episodes and lost interest. I found it all a bit slapstick.

We did the same Prudie. Some of it was really quite funny but it descended into unfunny fairly quickly.
