i think too that script writers haven't a clue about certain things there writing about ie: last night Tyrone says the cars he's working on (a toyata around 10 years old)needs a new fan belt ? no car has had a fan belt for decades,

Piper, that sort of thing doesn't bother me - it's not an instructional programme. They usually get the medical facts right and they do take advice from professionals on the big storylines.

i might be inconsequential to you but such little effort needed to make it more accurate, tyrone could have said its the "alternator" belt, both these guys drive cars in real life ,a word in the directors ear would have not gone amiss
also i dont like the "greens" influence in coronation street, last nights cringeworthy episode looking like a public information film about air pollution. ridiculous

ladybirder, I used to like Roy and Mary, but Roy seems more boring than before and he's not even been in the scenes when people are in the cafe, and Mary is just silly these days.
Abi is ok but it always gets me that she looks a bit of a scruff most of the time because she is a car mechanic, and yet she always has the most beautiful manicured nails even when she's working on a car!
Personally, I think there are too many characters and therefore people seem to go missing for months .
If I were to seriously change something it would be to at least half the cast and see them more regularly in better storylines that have a beginning, middle and end.
