morning all, its saturday, the weekend starts here. I hope you are all ok, and that you have a good day whatever you might be doing. I have no plans as such, but will see what the weather delivers. Its getting cooler here and its a sure sign of autumn. Had a nice lunch with friends yesterday at the local inn, one that i will go back to at some point.

We go away this Thursday and I’ve asked the Undertaker if the funeral can be postponed till we’re home , my daughter and son in law are dealing with the technicalities etc

We thought about what she said when we took her out for a meal last Saturday to celebrate the first anniversary of her husbands passing, she was never a one to ‘hold court’ but that day she tapped her spoon on the table and said,” you’re all here with me and I’m truly blessed , you’re the family I’ve never had , I’d like to thank you all, God Bless”
It was akin to a farewell eulogy

no one can say when their time is up Bobbi, even your friend, she gave way to her addiction, which you said they both had. Not good at all.

so has anyone anything planned for today, i might go out early and see if i get a stamp for my letter to my friends in Oz. then a friend suggested a new hairdresser to me, which is fairly local, will have to check that out as well this morning, before my friend phoning at 11.30am.
