I have seen Sam Simmons

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sam_Simmons_(comedian)

Australian comedian three times on Eight Out Of Ten Cats Does Countdown.

On each occasion, he has displayed disgusting sweat patches under his arms.

Why does he not realise this?

Does he never watch his shows afterwards?

And if he hasn't noticed, surely the director or producers can see what an embarrassment he is appearing like this.

Someone should have a word.

It may well be that he suffers from localised Hyperhidrosis, Andy - i have secondary Hyperhidrosis and sweat profusely from each and every pore. There are nerve blocking medications he could take, or botox injections under the arms. But unless he stinks to high heaven, he is not harming anyone. Before you suggest an anti-perspirant, i can tell you they do not work with someone suffering from hyperhidrosis. Do you feel embarrassed whenever you see Lee Evans on your tv screen?

I think this is rather a mean post, disgusting habits are one thing that you can change but I don't think this guy can control his levels of sweat. I am sure he is more than aware of it.
Because that's a character he is portraying in the same way Joe Wilkinson isn't really a beer swilling idiot!
"disgusting sweat patches"...
Disgusting...really?
Someone's easily offended.
His acts are physical, he sweats . He’s not funny though IMO .
There oughta be a law.

Not in the slightest - mainly because I find Lee Evans as amusing as root canal surgery, so he is never on my tv screen.

I must confess that is somethng i had not thought of - not knowing anything about him - but i can see that you may well be right, and I am happy to stand corrected.

Snap. But that's not the point.

Not especially, and not since I now know it may be deliberate.
Sweat patches on clothing -Yuk! I can honestly say if my beloved Sean Bean came a knocking at my front porch with underarm stains it would be access all areas...DENIED!

Isn't it?

Lee Evans lasts on my TV as long as it takes me to pick up the remote and change the channel, not a frequent occurence since his sub-Wisdom hyperactive monsense seems to have fallen from favour.

But I really enjoy Cats Does Countdown, so i will watch it all, including the segments including SS - although now i will see him with a different perspective.

Every day's a school day ...
Is there such a word as farcicality?

If not there should be.
He is Australian - what do you expect? Prince Andrew who claims not to perspire?
I think a string vest might look worse than damp underarms.
Just looked at the wiki link - hmmmm, he is not appealing to me at all. It is all a matter of taste.
Glad to see you have 'taste', choux - there was that thread about colour advice earlier in wanting some idea of a new palette for orange walls, green curtains, light grey carpets - honestly it could have been an Irish set for coming home after six to ten pints of 'Mother's Milk' be it of the Dublin or Cork variety.....or on Mrs Brown's Boys...
o good I am glad the Randy one has got a look in on a one-liner

I cdnt coin one apposite, zippy and above all ( like all of them on AB ) funny !

hey has anyone got any good 9/11 jokes, it is only a week away
