:D My family is munching their way through a pack of mcVities caramel chocolate biscuits. It is a torture to me, I haven't tried them :(

I remember sweets in the 1930s called "chops potatoes and peas" - little sweets in those shapes. I have never come across anyone who remembers them. I wonder if anyone on here does ?
It's spelt sherbet, not sherbert.
I think 'sherbet' and 'sherbert' are two different things. Sherbet is a drink - this is sherbert

Jubblies, the pyramid shaped ice lolly, great on a hot summers day.
I thought they were horrible, emmie. Soon lost their flavour so you were just sucking frozen water, it ran down your arm is it melted leaving a sticky mess and the feel of the waxed card made my fingers itch. I preferred a tip top or if I had the cash a Mivvie
