Was there an inconsistency in Casualty tonight? When Jade was with a patient's partner, the woman wanted a cup of tea and Jade didn't know what she said because the woman was turned away and Jade couldn't lipread. later on she was working with the new doctor on a patient, they were both masked up to the eyeballs and they were chatting away while turned away from each other so how did Jade manage to hear the dr when she wasn't able to lipread her?

Yes I noticed that - put it down to 'dramatic license'

I find that sort of inconsistency irritating. Important enough to make a fuss over it and then ignore it when it suits you.

I said exactly the same to OH - bad mistake somewhere along the line
