I have nothing in the calendar except my brother phoning this morning, which is nice.
autumn arrived seemingly yesterday, though it wasn't that cold but rather grey and overcast.

I'm ok, thanks Emmie. Not a bad day weather wise.

its cloudy and grey at the moment, though not particularly cold.

I see you managed to get your bag. Walthamstow market used to be huge. I don't know if it still is. It's years since I've been there.

its not the market it once was - even in the few years i have been going there its changed, as half the market down the end of the road just has the occasional stall.

i go there from time to time, and i did get a backpack, but its not all that good, seeing how one of the zips doesn't work properly, that's why i prefer to buy either on line or from a shop, you can return it as long as you have a receipt.

Can you not return it to wherever you bought it?

it means another trip to Walthamstow market, and a half an hour trip on the train, the lifts weren't working at the station, so i had to climb up three flights of these massive steps, causing breathing problems, also i suspect he wouldn't give me my money back, even if i could remember which stall holder i bought it from... i know next time not to buy anything down the markets.

That's a shame. I think you said it was quite expensive.

for a bag bought in a market 15 quid, i will know another time to check all the zips or not bother -

Do you have a tkmaxx near you emmie? They can be quite good for that kind of thing. I've gotten several backpacks at mine.

backpacks are expensive - my daughter needed a new backpack for school and i couldnt get one for under £25 quid, bcause she wanted a chest strap one

Like emmie, I use them for shopping. Much easier on both arms and back.
I got a pretty decent one from Amazon...only problem is I discovered one very rainy day that it wasn't waterproof.
