Have found only some of the 11 down extra clues.
Once the unclueds in Row 1 and Row 8 became evident, Google showed the remaining answers.

The only clue I cannot parse is :

Party gives the first three letters, though I think of it as a gathering (for a purpose) rather than a social event, followed by the usual 'following'. Bully ???? is a British term, idiomatic, for tinned or pickled ????.
