ABC1 Time out?

Hello Can anyone tell me why ABC 1 stops at six on Freeview? Why, you get it all through the day then it stops at six and comes back on at five the next morning. Anyone help? Thanks

Is there perhaps another channel that starts at 6 ?

Unlike Sky, that can have hundreds of channels, Freeview has only a limited number.

Maybe ABC1 needs to close down to make way for another channel.

I was wondering about that . It seems a waste as they just have a Logo until restart.

i dont understand why it finishes at 6pm either? i have freeview upstairs in my room and sky + downstairs and on sky abc1 runs throughout the night! you may have noticed on freeview that some of the programmes are advertised during the day for the evening schedule such as new episodes at 9pm, but i think for freeview viewers this is false advertising!

Firstly it starts at 6am and it finish at 6pm because it's free! duh!
